Boggy Depot Cemetery, Oklahoma

This old cemetary is on the edge of Boggy Depot State Park.
It is one of the few remnants of a town in Indian Territory, before that area was known as Oklahoma.
The Choctaw people lived in this area, and "Choctaw Chief Allen Wright, who lived at Boggy Depot, coined the word 'Oklahoma' in 1866 to describe the Indian Territory." (from Wikipedia)
This is clearly an upolluted location.
Lichens are the first victims of pollution. Many of the stones here are coated in lichens.
